This brand conveys the simple message that the human body is the most important piece of equipment we all have. Whether you already have the best equipment, or you’re working on yours, wearing BEST EQUIPMENT apparel is a statement about what you want for yourself and a reminder of what it takes to get there. Custom Apparel Options:

B E S T also focuses on providing custom apparel choices for businesses that require company embroidered apparel for promotional purposes and or employee use. BEST represents a “factory direct” approach for businesses requiring these services through a long term marketing and sales relationship it has established with a worldwide manufacturer. The factory is vertically integrated and controls all aspects of the apparel production ranging from the creation of the fabric to all the cut and sew operations as well. This functionality provides for better service and quality control, in addition to being able to offer very competitive pricing to businesses, both on a wholesale, and direct import basis.

Our Origins.

The Company’s founder Al Pierce, has been creating and importing sports products for distribution throughout the US since the early 80’s. Initially he designed and manufactured protective sports equipment. This distribution included major sporting goods chains and major sports teams including College and NFL football teams. Throughout much of the 80’s and 90’s, Mr. Pierce created dozens of products that were patented and or trademarked, as shown on the photos below, of the protective pads that are still in use by some NFL teams today.

Distribution to major sporting goods chains and sports teams eventually lead to the manufacturing and distribution of licensed products including College, Nascar, MLB and NFL licensed products. Licensed sports products and sports novelty items were again distributed throughout the US and included major chains such as Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Toys-R-Us and other regional and national stores.

Other Associations.

Mr. Pierce also currently runs a shipper’s association or buying group called Global Transportation Alliance (www.globaltalliance.com). This company consists of fellow importers that join GTA in order to combine their buying power into one cohesive group so that all Members save on their ocean freight costs. GTA also offers group discounted rates for US Customs Brokerage Services, local port drayage services, US domestic trucking and related legal and financial services.
